Forming in Kingston, Ontario in 1984, ‘The Hip’ went on to perform over 2,000 shows over the course of their career. Their live performances became legendary, whether it was in a stadium or in a small club, right up to their final tour with the late Gord Downie in 2016. The Tragically Hip are the only Canadian band to have 4 diamond-certified albums. Live At CBGB’s was recorded at the iconic New York club in support of their Fully Completely album on January 14, 1993.
