Spirited is an upcoming American Christmas-themed musical film written and directed by Sean Anders and John Morris. The modern retelling of Charles Dickens' 1843 novella, A Christmas Carol, stars Ryan Reynolds, Will Ferrell, and Octavia Spencer and is being distributed by Apple TV+; the film is scheduled to be released in 2022. Music written by Benj Pasek and Justin Paul (The Greatest Showman, La La Land, Dear Evan Hansen).
